Meet our Instructors
Michelle Jordan
Michelle’s love for yoga grew pretty quickly. She took her first class at a local studio in Albemarle, knowing nothing at all about yoga. But she knew from there she loved it and that it was something she would become passionate about.
She then took teacher training, unsure if she would actually teach, but once she taught the first time, she knew she wanted to continue her journey by helping others come to love yoga.
She feels that yoga is good for everyone, not only for physical benefits but mentally and emotionally. She loves helping others relax, improve their balance, focus and feel better about themselves.
Although her full-time job is doing hair, this is a great add-on and she is very grateful to be able to do both in one spot!

Erika Haywood
Hi, I'm Erika! You've probably seen me on the mat next to you in your yoga classes. I love practicing yoga, and every once in a while you might catch me teaching a class. I completed my 200-hour RYT in 2019 through Be Kind Yoga Teacher Training with Cindy Purser and Alia King.
Lately I've been taking more yoga classes than I've been teaching. Yoga keeps me focused and grounded, and helps me not feel overwhelmed by all the little things in life.
If you've ever thought about trying yoga but aren't sure what to expect, I encourage you to step outside of your comfort zone and give it a chance. Yoga is for everybody!"
