MEET THE OWNER

Michelle Jordan

Michelle has been a hair stylist for years serving the Norwood area, after building a stellar clientele she decided to expand her business. She wanted to open a hair salon but as her passion for yoga grew, she decided to blend the best of both worlds. In 2021, Michelle opened a unique Yoga & Hair studio, seamlessly combining her expertise in both areas.

Michelle's yoga story began with her joining a class, knowing absolutely nothing about yoga. Surprisingly, it struck a chord, igniting a passion she couldn't ignore. After taking the plunge into teacher training, she found herself hooked on guiding others in their yoga journey.

For Michelle, yoga isn't just about striking poses; it's a holistic experience. She's on a mission to help people not only physically but also mentally and emotionally. Whether it's finding balance, focus, or just an overall sense of well-being, Michelle loves being a part of her client's journey.

While her primary job remains in the world of hair, Michelle considers the yoga studio a fantastic addition to the business. Doing both under one roof is not just a job—it's a grateful blend of passion and profession.

Erika Haywood

Hi, I'm Erika! You've probably seen me on the mat next to you in your yoga classes. I love practicing yoga, and every once in a while you might catch me teaching a class. I completed my 200-hour RYT in 2019 through Be Kind Yoga Teacher Training with Cindy Purser and Alia King.

Lately I've been taking more yoga classes than I've been teaching. Yoga keeps me focused and grounded, and helps me not feel overwhelmed by all the little things in life.

If you've ever thought about trying yoga but aren't sure what to expect, I encourage you to step outside of your comfort zone and give it a chance. Yoga is for everybody!"
